Sales Engineer – Industrial Capital Equipment Wixom, MI · Full-time

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, the largest North American manufacturer in their space, for a Sales Engineer to join their team in Wixom, MI. If you have a background in industrial capital equipment sales and thrive in a technical, consultative environment, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Selling large, custom engineered industrial equipment to automotive and general manufacturing customers
• Managing and growing existing accounts while developing new business
• Preparing and presenting technical proposals and quotes
• Educating customers on product features, benefits, and applications
• Negotiating contracts and terms
• Traveling domestically and internationally to support sales activity
• Working closely with engineering and service teams on technical needs

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of capital equipment or industrial sales experience
• Engineering or technical degree, or comparable industry experience
• Experience selling into automotive, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong consultative sales approach with experience managing complex, long-cycle sales
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
