About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Project Manager to oversee high-end custom home construction projects in the West Palm Beach area. This role requires a seasoned construction professional with at least 15 years of experience managing luxury residential projects from preconstruction through final delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of custom home construction, experience managing demanding client expectations, and the ability to coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams while maintaining strict control over budgets, schedules, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of high-end custom home construction projects, from preconstruction through completion and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work to identify potential issues.
• Oversee bidding, subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and purchasing.
• Monitor project costs, approve invoices, track change orders, and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure construction activities remain on schedule and meet quality expectations.
• Manage client communication, provide progress updates, and address questions or concerns throughout the project.
• Identify potential project risks, resolve issues, and implement solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, permitting requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
• Oversee project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.
• Lead project closeout activities and ensure successful delivery to the client.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience managing high-end custom residential construction projects.
• Proven track record overseeing luxury custom homes from preconstruction through completion.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, finishes, and building systems.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar projects, budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience working directly with homeowners, architects, designers, and other high-end project stakeholders.
• Strong financial management, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software; Procore experience is a plus.

Compensation

Annual salary range of $140,000–$160,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
