General Superintendent - Theme Parks

A nationally recognized General Contractor is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead field operations on some of the most complex and high-profile entertainment and theme park projects in the country.

This role is ideal for a proven construction leader with experience managing large field teams, multiple superintendents, complex logistics, and aggressive schedules. You will oversee multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall field leadership for large-scale theme park, entertainment, hospitality, and specialty construction projects.
  • Direct and mentor project superintendents, assistant superintendents, field engineers, and trade partners.
  • Develop and execute site logistics, phasing plans, and construction sequencing strategies.
  • Manage complex multi-phase projects in active and occupied environments while minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Coordinate structural, architectural, MEP, specialty ride systems, themed environments, and infrastructure scopes.
  • Lead subcontractor coordination meetings, pull-planning sessions, and short-interval scheduling efforts.
  • Drive schedule performance and proactively identify recovery plans when required.
  • Ensure all work is executed in accordance with company safety standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Partner closely with project executives, project managers, owners, consultants, and specialty vendors.
  • Oversee commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years in a General Superintendent leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience managing large commercial, hospitality, entertainment, theme park, aviation, healthcare, mission-critical, or complex mixed-use projects.
  • Demonstrated success leading projects valued at $100M+.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, logistics planning, quality control, and safety management.
  • Experience managing multiple superintendents and large field teams.
  • Strong understanding of complex MEP systems and specialty installations.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction technologies.

Preferred Experience

  • Theme park, entertainment, resort, attraction, or hospitality construction experience.
  • Experience working in active operational environments with strict schedule constraints.
  • Previous work with major entertainment owners, destination resorts, or large public venues.
  • Design-build and fast-track project delivery experience.
