Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager – Multifamily Construction

Location: Boynton Beach, FL

Project: 8-Story Multifamily Wrap

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 DOE + Bonus

A well-established General Contractor is looking for a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager to join their team in Boynton Beach, FL, supporting the construction of an 8-story multifamily wrap project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with experience in multifamily, commercial, or large-scale residential construction who is looking to take on greater responsibility and grow with a strong GC.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day project activities from preconstruction through completion.
• Work closely with the Superintendent, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and ownership team.
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting.
• Manage subcontractor scopes, contracts, change orders, and pay applications.
• Coordinate project meetings and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.
• Track project progress and identify potential schedule, cost, and quality issues.
• Assist with procurement and subcontractor coordination.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Participate in project closeout, punch list, and turnover activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction project management experience for an APM-level candidate, or 5+ years for a PM-level candidate.
• Experience with multifamily, commercial, residential, or similar large-scale construction preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and cost control.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.

Compensation

$120,000–$140,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus bonus.

The company is open to considering either a strong APM ready to step into a PM role or an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership of the project.
