One of the Nation's leading General Contractors is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead the field operations of a landmark high-rise project in Miami.
This is an opportunity to join a company with a strong pipeline of luxury residential, mixed-use, and hospitality developments throughout South Florida. The successful candidate will be the primary field leader responsible for safety, quality, schedule, and overall project execution on a complex vertical construction project.
Responsibilities
- Lead all field operations from groundbreaking through turnover on a high-rise construction project.
- Manage and mentor superintendents, assistant superintendents, field engineers, and trade partners.
- Develop and execute project logistics plans, sequencing strategies, and short-interval schedules.
- Coordinate all structural, architectural, MEP, façade, and interior scopes to maintain project milestones.
- Conduct daily site walks, subcontractor coordination meetings, and look-ahead planning sessions.
- Enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety programs.
- Partner closely with Project Management to manage schedule recovery, change management, and overall project performance.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality control and ensure successful project turnover.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large commercial construction projects.
- 5+ years leading high-rise residential, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial towers.
- Proven experience managing projects exceeding $100M in construction value.
- Strong understanding of concrete structures, vertical transportation systems, building envelope, MEP coordination, and interior finishes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large field teams and coordinate multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and other construction management platforms.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Preferred Background
- Luxury condominium, mixed-use, hospitality, or Class A high-rise experience.
- Experience delivering projects in the South Florida market.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, inspections, and permitting processes.
