Outside Sales Representative – Industrial Distribution Syracuse, NY

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established industrial distributor seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to cover the Syracuse, NY territory.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing and growing an existing book of business while developing new accounts across the region. This is a field-based role focused on building long-term relationships with industrial and manufacturing clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a territory of existing accounts
• Prospect and develop new business within the region
• Present product and service solutions to engineers, maintenance, and procurement contacts
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and order fulfillment
• Meet and exceed sales targets

What They're Looking For

• Background in industrial sales or distribution (MRO, fluid power, motion control, or related)
• Proven track record of territory management and new business development
• Strong relationship-building skills with a hunter mentality
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Compensation

• Base + uncapped commission
• Full benefits package
• Mileage coverage
